My website has been hacked
To all my faithful subscribers who might be wondering what is going on…
My website and blog had been hacked! I wouldn’t have even known about it if it wasn’t for the New Yorker magazine who called to let me know about this (THANK YOU, John!!!)
Well, my husband worked around the clock over the weekend and now everything is back to normal. Except that I lost a lot of the posts from the blog. But – I was able to recover most of them through Google Cache. It will take me a little white, but all the posts will be placed back on the blog soon.
Unfortunately I lost all the many comments people made on my posts…:(
If you are wondering how come the New Yorker magazine called me… just check out next week’s issue 🙂

“MUSICAL SAW PLAYERS CONVENTION”
The carpenter’s saw, which became a folk-music staple in the mid-nineteenth century, experienced its greatest popularity during the days of vaudeville, as a novelty instrument. Its fortunes declined following the Second World War, but Natalia Paruz, who calls herself the Saw Lady and has played it everywhere from the subways to Avery Fisher Hall, is doing her part to revive the saw and its gossamer, voicelike sound. She organizes this annual gathering, which draws aficionados from all over the world (this year they come from as far away as China) for an afternoon of music and instruction.
