Is That Made of Cat Intestine?
When busking at the St George ferry terminal in NYC I know to go directly to the guard with the bomb-sniffing dog first, before venturing further into he space. If you don’t do it and you have a large bag – they’ll chase you.
The dog, Tailor, was lounging on the floor. “Sorry to wake your dog up”, I said. “She has a good union”, the guard replied 🙂
Taylor lives in a house with three cats and she loves playing with them.
After hugging the dog I set up to play my music.
As I was setting up my busking gear, a guy asked me if I ever ran into trouble with the Police because I carry my musical saw in a gun case.
The musical saw was very rusty when I took it out of the case. I had to spend some time cleaning the rust off.
Most original question of the day:
Pointing at the musical saw a kid asked: “Is that made of cat intestine?”
Hi friend:
I am from Spain, i am 27.
I write to you to ask some questions. As i said to you, i am a policeman here in spain, and i play as a DJ in some discos on the weekend. I have a good position and life here in spain, but i want to make my dream of live in NYC at least some months working as a DJ.
I would like to play my music in the NYC subway. I would install my DJ equipment and i would play and sell my sessions recorded on CDs.
But i have some questions. What do i need to play on the subway? Where do i have to ask about the permission?
How do you get electricity in the subway for your equipment? Thank you very much for your help.
Regards from spain
Hi Natalia, great site! I had been wondering if something like this existed! I was wondering if you have the contact info of Ilia Radu. I am planning my wedding and wanted to invite an accordian player. I think I saw Ilia playing on 47-50th street, but havent seen him in a while. I would appreciate your help! If you do not have his contact info, do you know of any other accordian players?
Thanks,
Anya
